Imagine having to spend every night for months camped out in your child’s hospital room, eating food from vending machines, all the while trying to stay positive and happy for the sake of your seriously ill child. – Ronald McDonald House Randwick (RMH).
At the forefront of our business is the passion we have for our people and the wider community. After discovering that one of SNP’s valuable team members is currently staying at the Ronald McDonald House, our MD Tom Roche offered the company’s full support to this employee and his family during this difficult time.
In addition, Tom along with some of the SNP team, volunteered last night for the Make a Meal Program at RMH Randwick, by planning a menu and preparing food for 75 residents of the House.
Most of the families struggle to find the time to prepare meals during these critical periods. Helping them with this process not only alleviates their stress, but also enables them to relax in a comfortable environment away from the hospital setting.
Ronald McDonald House is a home away from home for families and their seriously ill children undergoing treatment at the Sydney Children’s Hospital Randwick which can last for days, months, or even years.
SNP has also donated to the RMH and provided gifts to the families and their children. The Ronald McDonald House is now an organisation even closer to our hearts and we encourage everyone who can to support this charity and foundation.
